Stopped by this food cart to grab some 'take out' for dinner. It was a bit of a wait, however they had a device which told us when to come back for pick up. Fish was VERY good!!! Will be back to get more. You can add extra pieces for $3.50. Sausage roll was just 'OK'. Smoked chowder was very smoky, must like a strong smoked flavor to enjoy.

Best in the area. Flaky fish and light crunchy batter. I eat a lot of fish and chips. I have tried many over 40 years. Yes this is a food truck and some people won't like the fact that you eat in your car. There are 2-4 small tables but that's it. I would not take and go as all fried foos get a little soggy. The batter to fish ratio is outstanding, fresh and their tartar sauce is also good too. Go, their prices are reasonable and the owner is very nice.

This was our second time trying Winston's. The food has been delicious, both times, and still warm and crispy even as a DoorDash order. The fish is generously portioned, tasty, and the chips are great. The Kings wings were also a big hit, as was the princess pudding. But the cherry on top was this adorable little corgi toy that came with the kids meal. It made my son's day and was such a nice surprise. I'm always on the lookout for affordable kids meals from restaurants where us grown ups can enjoy the food too. We will definitely order again. Thanks so much Winston's!

The fish and chips at Winston's are pretty good! My reference is a food cart in Astoria (Ship Out) which successfully succeeded an English pub there owned by a man from England (Ship Inn, open 1974-2017). However, living in the Gorge, Astoria is kind of a long drive for fish and chips. The crust on the fish is about as good, crispy and with good crunch. It would be good on a variety of fish (hint, hint, halibut). The thing that sets the meal apart are the fries. They're almost like very lightly coated stubby spiral extruded version of a curly fry. Quite good. Complimenting the fish was a good tartar sauce. The clam chowder was a plainer version, which would be fine to be able to eat it frequently and not grow tired of it. The bit of story from the owner about the royal family was appreciated. The royal chef is a decent fellow for maintaining the privacy of Her Royal Highness and the rest of the royal family.

Fish and chips, SO GOOD!! Perfectly cooked, fries crispy, tartar sauce flavorful, absolutely will get again. Smoked fish chowder was meh, much too smoky for me. Mushy peas were one of the worst things I've had, tasted like the smell of goose poop, lol, now if this is a staple in England, then don't listen to me!! Lacked salt as well. Curry was ok, I didn't like the fish and curry mix. Wings were good, but just a weird addition, sauce I really liked. All in all, they knocked it out of the park with fish and chips, everything else I could do without. Oh, and the packaging was so cute!!

My boyfriend works close by & had been wanting to come try this place for a while. They run a small menu which is makes deciding a lot easier. We went with the #2 & #3. They give you a buzzer,so you can wait in your car if you'd like as it is starting to get colder these days. It comes prepared in a really cool box! Our 15 minute drive home & everything was still warm & crispy. The #2 fish & chips was served with a curry dipping sauce, which I thought was interesting. It was actually pretty good, but if you prefer tartar sauce it comes with that also. Fries were yummy as well. The wings that came with #3 had a nice tangy flavor & as mentioned sticky. Fish was crisp to perfection super crunchy. I had the rest for dinner & just threw my leftover fish & fries in the air fryer & they were good as new again! People working there were super nice. They seem to be real popular, as we got our food a line was forming.
